REDUCED - OVI
Client was driving home at 3:07 a.m. when he was stopped by police officers and found to have an open bottle of brandy with a missing cap in the car with him. Having been previously convicted of an OVI, the client decided to politely refuse all field sobriety tests and the requested breathalyzer test. Officers arrested the client and alleged a second offense OVI.
We were able to negotiate a plea of Physical Control in lieu of the second offense OVI. In addition we were able to have the Administrative License Suspension terminated. The client was ordered to pay a $25.00 fine plus the court costs.
